Island Peak Climbing – 15 Days…on stunning icy trails
Island Peak Climbing, We begin our venture via Namche Bazaar and Thyangboche, we follow the Island Peak Climbing Via Everest Base Camp trail to Lobuche beside the Khumbu glacier. Since acclimatization is important for this trip, we visit Everest Base Camp and do an ascent of the standard viewpoint of Kala Pattar, where we get to relish some premium views of the world’s highest peak. Then wading through the Khumbu Glacier, we clamber up Kongma La which opens a way to the valley of the Imja Khola and the summer grazing settlement of Chukung. From this point onwards, we move up to the base camp for our central goal, Island Peak. The ascent of this 6000m peak in the silhouette of the huge Lhotse face is an ‘alpine experience’ never to be forgotten, which takes some arduous climbing in bare situations amongst incredible scenery. This is one of the greatest among all of Nepal’s mountain adventures Trekking in Himalaya.
Due to its high altitudes, Island Peak Climbing the months ranging from January, February, March, April, May, June, July, October, November & December, are best suited for trekking in these regions.
