There is a natural hot spring 10minute down to Modi river from Jhinu Danda hotels, can enjoy yourself spiritually in a natural hot spring with bathing areas in the lap of the mountain peak. Annapurna People and Culture
The locals we will encounter along the way to Annapurna Base Camp Route are mixed ethnic groups. There are Brahmans and Chhetris in the lower part of elevations and Mongoloid face people in Himalaya or higher elevation. Ethnic groups are Gurung and Magar people in the area, one of the famous British Gurkha regiments. How to Get there and away
Like most of the famous Annapurna treks except Annapurna Circuit crossing Thorong-La pass (5416M), Annapurna Base Camp Trek above 4000m also starts and ends in Pokhara 800m – first beautiful city and naturally blessed place to relax after several day hikes in the Annapurna region. Approximately 200km to the west from Kathmandu by road and 25 minutes fly by air. Several domestic airlines run a daily flight between Kathmandu to Pokhara which cost USD 125.00 per person during the main trekking season and USD 100 in the offseason for foreigners, Nepal people and Indian passport holders get quite cheaper at USD 50 to USD 80 per person. Drive about 7-8 hours by normal tourist bus, Local buses and microbuses leave every one hour from new bus park Kathmandu till 3 pm. GreenLine Buses (USD 25.00 per person including lunch on the way) and other tourist buses live every morning from Kantipath. Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary (ABC Trek Itinerary in short form) will be 7 days from Pokhara following river Modi or start from Kande via Landruk village. If trek via Poon Hill viewpoint 9 days from/to Pokhara and 11 days from Kathmandu depending on your timetable and physical fitness in high altitude. Most of the people trek 12days Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani Poon Hill Circuit which is relaxing and allows you to get extra acclimatized and the suitable itinerary will be 10 to 12 days. The itinerary can be even more than 2 days longer if we trek back to Kande via Himalpani, Landruk, Pothana. Starting from Nayapul – Chhomrong and straight up to Annapurna Base Camp and back to the Nayapul same way along the Modi Khola River is the shortest itinerary route. How difficult to Trek Annapurna Base Camp?
Many people ask how difficult to trek Annapurna Base Camp, it is a very moderate route and doesn’t demand advanced physical fitness levels to get there, so everyone can enjoy and take pleasure in nature walking during the trek. Also, those who are trekking with children or family can also get pleasure from this trek. Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani loop allows your body to get adapted and acclimatized before high altitude. Also, it helps you to keep your body in excellent shape and you can tackle physically depending on an aerobatic walk into a thin air area. The visitor having previous trekking experience with a fit body can complete it within a short period of time. The highest elevation we will gain is 4130m/13,546feet from sea level.
When to trek Annapurna Base Camp?
From mid-September as soon rainy season stop to mid-December and mid-March to May are the best trekking seasons to do Annapurna Base Camp. Mid-June to mid-September are still rainy months but this time is best for keen botanists and has a clear sky sometimes and is less touristic. During the trek, it offers grand spectacles of colorful blooming rhododendron flowers during the month of February, March, and April. The view of Mt. Dhaulagiri ranges with the rising sun shining on its superb views of this trek. The highlight of this trip is you will climb Poon Hill 3210m at dawn to enjoy one of the views of the most brilliant mountains on the Earth. As the sun touches the snow-capped Himalayan Giants, (Dhaulagiri 8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m), among many other peaks, gradually become visible magically before your eyes. This trek also offers great opportunities to witness the beauty of the Annapurna region with a limited short time of trekking. If you would like to avoid crowd trekking season then highly recommended to trek in December and February. The temperature is a little cold in the mornings but not unbearable and warmer during daylight and clear sky with a fantastic view most of the days.

Day 01. Arrival Kathmandu Nepal Transfer To Overnight Selected Hotels
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara 30 minutes and drive to Jhinu Danda 2-3 hours
Day 03: Trek to Sinuwa Hotel View (2370m), 4-5 hours walk. Overnight in Excellent lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2930m), 5-7 hours walk. Overnight in lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), 6-7 hours walk. Overnight Sanctuary lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Bamboo (2310m), 7 hours walk. Overnight in Buddha lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Jhinu (1780m), 4-5 hours walk and drive to Pokhara Hotel
Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu (provided bus tickets) overnight at selected hotels/Optional flights
