For those who are willing to spend more days in the Nepal Himalayas, we at Nepal Base Camp treks have an optional trekking package with similar amenities. It is a 16-day package that suits best for those with a more relaxed trekking itinerary.
Words of Caution: The flight to Lukla, the trek route and the journey back to Kathmandu might at times be marred by inclement weather and cloudy, overcast conditions as an abrupt change in the climate is a regular phenomenon of the entire region. Hence, the flight timings and the tour itinerary are subject to last minute changes or delays or even cancellation for a day or more.
However, one good sign is that these phenomena do not occur too frequently during the top pre-monsoon (February to April) and post-monsoon (Late September to December) seasons.
However, it is advisable that due to this probability you have some extra days in your kitty. In case the weather gets too bad, you have the option of changing your ticket, or availing chartered helicopter services, though that will bear an extra cost.
